Love is the sunrise,
strong and bright
which greets us every day.
Love is the magpie
who swoops to protect,
the kittens that tumble in play.

Love is the look
I catch in your eyes
as you hold me whenever you can.
Love is a touch,
a whisper, a song,
a hint of compassion in man.
