Gliding by on fragile wings
they tend our gardens,
bringing life and colour
as they grow.
Tiny or tall,
their magick is chaos
childlike and free
as the breeze
that whispers
through the trees.
Natural as the
trickling brook,
they connect us with
our Great Mother Earth.
Graceful
as the prettiest
flower
they speak
of love and safety and mischief
and the warmth
of home.
