My second great love (after books) is bookcrossing and Book Karma would not be complete without a page devoted to this pursuit. Fellow bookcrossing addicts will need no explanation, but for those who don't know, bookcrossing can be summed up in three words: Register, Read, Release.

Register:

Log into bookcrossing.com and register your book to get a bookcrossing ID number (BCID).

Read:

Read your book and leave a journal entry on the bookcrossing website to let everyone know what you thought.

Release:

Write the BCID somewhere in your book and send it on it's way.

I have also designed a few of my own bookcrossing labels, which fellow bookcrossers are free to use if they wish. There are small labels suitable for the front cover or last page, and medium labels to stick on the inside cover. My labels are designed to be cut out and glued on. If you print directly onto sticky labels, you may need to tweak the borders a bit.
